• Tuesday, I thought my first meeting went well. Though no one was willing to commit, they all agreed it was a good idea. The mayor said they had a lot of people living in tents, that would probably love to have a place of their own. He said a surprising number of them had jobs, but just couldn't find anywhere to live that they could afford, with the rents being so high. So, they had nowhere to live, but outside.
• But apparently, his team couldn't do anything till they checked their budget, to see what they could afford.
• I was just glad that they took my card and the print-out I'd done, explaining everything, before we ended the meeting.
